The web sling shackles from Crosby® features a squared bow that’s excellent for connecting synthetic web slings and round slings to eye bolts, pad eyes, and lifting lugs. The wider sling-bearing surface offers an increased area for load distribution, which can also increase the efficiency of the sling by at least 15% over standard chain and anchor bows and traditional eye hooks, allowing 100% of the slings’ rated Working Load Limit to be achieved. The alloy construction offers superior strength, and the Sling Saver shackle design utilizes the same pin dimensions and ear spread as conventional Crosby® shackles to make connections simple.
